Larry, Josh or whomever, Are the blades on the weedcutter set up like a brushhog and therefore just bounce off of large objects?

No, they are on arbors like a mower deck and are very thick and flat.

They arbors are also angled, matching the "sawtooth" on the front and the blades over lap 3" or more.
