Lots of yellow happening now...

I matched my paint to the steering gear. I hit the gear with a little carb cleaner before the pic which brightened it a bit as the steel starts to show through, otherwise, it was a near perfect match.

Looks great so far Josh! Now i'm excited to start on my older b-10! My restored b-10 i did the same way you are doing, took a few months to finish, but as has been said, you will feel really proud when she's all done! Can't wait to see more

Glad to see your doing a great job, cause I sure wouldn't want the machines of your future putting it to shame!

Finally got my extra paint...I shot the tranny with it's last coat this morning, and all my bits and peices are done too. The only thing I have left is a clean and paint job on the engine, and I can begin rebuilding!

I picked up that little engine hoist a month back for $5 on CL. It works awesome, and has been VERY helpful.

Manufacture Date?

That is one neat lift! Swell price too. This is shaping into one fine looking project, I am now looking forward to painting my 112!

I think my next restoration will be far less extensive...this bolt-by-bolt stuff is tough on the mind! I want to USE it, not wait for paint to dry. I started putting on some decals and put my clutch pedal assembly back on the frame today. As soon as I get some time, I can really let loose and fly...start bolting stuff back together. I do need to get a pile of new grade 5 bolts, as I plan to use mostly new hardware. There is light at the end of the tunnel, and my hope is to photograph the reassembly moreso than I did the rest.

That lift will pretty much pick the tranny up, right off the tailgate, and set it on the ground, if need be.

Got the engine back together today. The shrouds were blasted nad painted, the rest was done by hand, with various wire wheels. I plugged in new wiring from the Magneto...had a nice big mouse nest in there.

Rebuilt my front axle. The steering on this thing was horrendous. I was actually missing the rear wishbone support, which in turn elongated the axle bolt hole.

First I knocked out and replaced the spindle bushings to clean up the slop that was there

Then I drilled out the axle and mounting block to allow for a larger bolt. With tips from a fellow Michigander Allis guru, I added Oilite bushings at the friction points. This setup is nice and snug, and will keep from wearing my axle etc. I figure with the loader, better safe than sorry

Nice work Josh! Looks great, i have the same engine, just put it in my older b-10 about a month ago, now i know where the breather hose is supposed to go!
I might have to do the same with my steering on the older b-10, very sloppy and worn.

If you're going to put a loader on it,why not put the flat roller bushings under the spindles? It'd probably steer much easier!
