I transplanted total of 56 broccoli & 50 sweet onions sets. That's it for a while though. Too early for green beans, corn, and tomatoes here yet.

Came home today to find that the squirrels had pulled up about half my corn.

Phil, I want your weather. Its snowing here in Western NY state after being 85-90 for 3 days last weekend!

Gonna have heavy frost in morning...down to 32. Likely to damage my brocolli if not kill it. Sure hope it pulls through it.

I have always thought of myself as a Southerner stuck in a Northerners body! I love everything about the south....especially the food!


I am not wishing my life away but I am so looking forward to becoming a Snowbird when I retire.

It has been so dry ( only 2-1/2 " for the month of April ) I am having to water way too much and though the plants are surviving I don't think they are thriving.
