Some of you may have read my wish for some SGH, (Simplicity Growth Hormones), and warned me about the danger of that wish.
This is the result so far:

My wife is beginning to get upset with the rate my addiction is growing.
The other day she was in the garage and said, "What a Man Cave." "There were no stains on this floor when we bought this place. Now look at it!"
The conversation this morning was:
"How old is this one?" 1984.
"You mean this one is older than the other two?" Yes.
"Why are you buying older tractors?" Because they are better.
She just shook her head and walked away.
I want to thank all of you for enabling me.

Good grief! Who would have thought a 30 minute response time was slow?!?!?!?

I missed a running, mowing 4041 (said it had a newer 20 hp Onan), 3pt and deck 45 mins from the house this week....$550. Pics looked great, but I called 35 minutes after it was posted (6am!), and it was spoken for. =[

Guy even followed up with me to confirm the buyer showed up and paid...cant win them al...

That 4040 has been for sale off and on for a while. $3800 is way to much without a loader. It does look nice though.

I found this one today, but it's much much more than I need.

Those cooling fins need a good cleaning! Looks like you might have evicted something when you picked that up!

it is hard to pass up a good tractor. That 5015 is still hanging on out there screaming my name so bad I had to start wearing earplugs. Besides the new Navion has depleted all the serious money.

Here are a few pictures and a short video of the 6216.

A little grass and debris under the shrouds

This is the left side head, with oil/ grease buildup on the bottom.

Here is the short video of the start up.

Its funny how this just takes off with some folks. My wife has been good so far, but when I mention a new tractor she just gives me a look and asks 'You're not painting this one are you?'

She did NOT like my makeshift booth in the basement this winter. It will take me a week to get the yellow dust off her stuff.

I do, but it would be a long work commute for you.

Yhats the question, Whuch? I have 3-4 that are nice runners, but wouldn't sell for much, and I have no use for, but parts goldmines...

HRY JON! Tell your wife some members have over 20 tractors per household member, and to beat that you need at least another 135.... Probably a bad idea.

I have been told by my wife the 5 I have is too many. Soooo, the 7016 is for mowing. If it has problems the 2110 is backup. The 2110 also does weed management, tilling, and snow removal duties. The 101 is the first old tractor I got and is kind of for fun (risky statement). The Broadmoor I gave to my son and the Yeoman I gave to my daughter, so those aren't really mine. :) THAT'S MY STORY AND I'M STICKIN' TO IT!!! :)
