Posted - 06/10/2011 : 22:38:38 Wow Josh, your find gets even better with the additonal details. I'm envious, I'd like to get to stumble on a D110 for sure, I really like the lines of the tractor. That one you found is sure a dandy. |

Posted - 06/10/2011 : 22:31:47 I thought it was pretty cool...I have an original, bound B series service manual, but only reproductions of other paperwork. |

Posted - 06/10/2011 : 22:26:42 Front tires are shot, but don't seem to lose air...I have new ones ready to go. The rears are new, and the rear rims appear to be much newer and not repainted. The RH side has some rust, in that notorious spot under the battery, on the side panel, but the rest of the tractor is really rust free. The LH side panel looks nearly new, and doesn't appear to ahve been mounted on the tractor for much of it's life. All the speednuts are there...
Tiller's in great shape and the blower is 10X better...just dusty, dirty and has some grease all over it. The seat is in pretty darn good shape, and the steering is better than my other B110. I'm real happy!
Got a battery shot for Larry...

And, yes, this one has a perfect hood for carrying bricks, or any other thing you may want to take along

I got original manuals for the tractor, mower, blower, light kit 243431 Briggs, a parts guide for the Briggs, a Briggs service manual

Anybody seen one of these? He said the original owner kept it with his manuals because it was an original engine tag from when the guy bought it new...

Posted - 06/10/2011 : 22:24:40 Looks like a beautiful original tractor. Looks like a good cleaning polishing and maybe paint the rims and it'd be a beauty. You even got all the covers including the one for the snowblower. |

Posted - 06/10/2011 : 22:14:11 Well, got her down to Ma's, and in the barn out of the rain. Took a few pics before the light faded, and even ran the mower around the yard once...cuts and runs great!

THATS RIGHT!! And useing cake pans to change oil, hair dryers to shrink plastic and thaw pipes, Kitchen sink to de-grease small parts, microwave to thaw frozen fuel filters, oven to force dry small painted parts.. Man I could think of a LOT more. Used the toilet in one bathroom as a self filling reservoir for a hydroponic garden once, but I ALWAYS put the seat down..... |

With my dozer blade in dirt, while it's more work, I do way better work with the manual lift and counterweight on my BIG TEN, than the B210 w/ hydrolift. With the manual lift you know when it's starting to dig in, of course an hour and my left arm is worn out...
Yup...I only tried dirt with my dozer/hydrolift once. And it was a short adventure. It took me a while to get the hang of doing snow with it, but now I can't go back!
When I play in the dirt now, it's only the grader that I use...that thing does a nice job. |

Posted - 06/10/2011 : 05:59:39 The blower looks nearly unused. The pads show no wear, and the auger is mint. The tiller is in good shape, has the PTO and a new chain and sprockets. I haven't really looked over the mower deck, but he was cutting with it regularly, and it's my first with a chute! Got a spring trip dozer, which will probably see more use than the blower ever would, so I'll probably be looking for a foster home for that blower...I already ahve one I don't use. I only have room for one of each attachment =] |

Posted - 06/09/2011 : 19:15:27 I like it. I would love to have a snowthrower for my B-110. Good find. I agree with Larry. Find something better for her to divert her attention. |
