Well, for the second time, I bought a new cab (this one designed for a Simplicity Regent) for myself. As it turned out I am selling this one to my neighbor to replace his barn burned up 7117, cab, snow blower combo. A nice Sovereign with power steering. I hope he doesn't need it.
I know little about cabs but id imagine the all black material would be warmer than the lighter colors or white.
My own (AC) cab gets pretty warm on it's inside with all my insulated clothes on. After about an hour I end up taking off my hat and at least undoing my coat, lest I end up a sweat ball. I guess it's engine heat (yet well vented) and constant movement from my fat body.
I have a cab very similar on the snowblower tractor. My feet are the only things that can get cold. Otherwise even at below zero temps it's pretty comfortable.
