My Husqvarna rototiller was acting as if it was getting too much gas. When I checked the oil gasoline poured out. It has a Briggs and Stratton 950 series engine. Can I assume that the problem is with the carb?

I'm sure its the carb.

It has a fuel shut off that I think I forgot to turn off. I will change the oil and see how it goes. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Does it have a block mounted fuel pump?

I have to agree with Dave's advice. You might consider a fuel filter between the tank and carb.

Probably. Change the oil and take off the carb to see if the needle is sticking open. A shut off on the fuel line between tank and carb would also be a good idea. Good luck....Dave
